TabTrade is a new entrant in the retail forex market. It is aimed at traders who are interested in low spreads and trading costs. The broker’s main selling point is its average spreads of 0.0 pips on major currency pairs. It says that this is the best way to judge its trading conditions.
TabTrade operates through TabTrade Ltd (company number 2025-00919) and was founded by fintech entrepreneur Benjamin Boulter. The broker is launching with three account levels: Standard, Edge, and VIP. The Edge account is the main product, and it aims to achieve execution speeds of less than 30 milliseconds on MetaTrader 5. The VIP tier, built for higher-volume participants, pushes that target lower still, below 20 milliseconds. For traders who rely on speed, the distinction matters. Boulter explained the reasoning directly:
“Execution performance has become an increasingly discussed metric among traders running scalping strategies and automated systems,” Boulter said. “In those environments, delays of even a few milliseconds can influence fill quality, particularly during high-volatility sessions.”
The infrastructure underpinning those targets is connected to Equinix’s LD4 and LD5 data centres in London, facilities recognised across institutional trading for their proximity to major liquidity providers. TabTrade also supports the FIX API connectivity, which allows external algorithmic strategies to connect directly to its execution environment.
At launch, MetaTrader 5 will be the only platform available. TradingView and cTrader integrations are on the way. Regulatory-wise, TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) in Saint Lucia. Client funds are held in segregated accounts, and the company has confirmed that further licence applications are currently in progress.
